I will likely watch this show live as the two draws for me are the ladder match and the TV championship match.

I've been calling GUNTHER retains at Mania and loses to Sheamus at MITB. Give the UK fans that big moment on that show, not Mania.

I agree with you on the build. Building PPVs, especially WrestleMania, hasn't been about the need to sell tickets or obviously gain PPV buys in forever and by no means is that me trying to justify any of WWE's booking the last couple of months.

The matches I care most about are Cody vs. Rhodes, Usos vs. Owens & Zayn, GUNTHER vs. Sheamus vs. McIntyre, Charlotte vs. Ripley, Dominik vs Rey and kinda Balor vs. Edge.

I went back to re-watch MJF vs. Darby Allin from Full Gear 2021. This match is a strong example of a great opening match being just as important as a great main event.

This was also the match that JR called MJF and Darby two of the four AEW "pillows".

Mike Bailey vs. Bandido from the 2022 Battle of Los Angeles - This main evented Night 1 and definitely deserved that spot. I can watch both of these guys work all day. Mike Bailey deserves a bigger spot light, in my opinion the most underrated little man going today.

Taya is a big get and her going up against Jade Cargill is something I'm into.

I don't understand this booking. Why was Wardlow vs. Hobbs a Falls Count Anywhere match? And then why did it turn into a Last Man Standing match? I'm watching last year's Slammiversary and this actually looks like a good card. The opening Ultimate X match was pretty entertaining. One of these days I'll pul the trigger and get Impact Plus
