Re: WWE Discussion/News

So sad about Vader, he was one of my favourites growing up. Super agile and quick for a guy his size and menacing as hell. I know his health has been poor for the last year plus so it's not quite a complete shock but still saddens me.

Re: Comic Books

Reading Man of Steel and growing more confident that Bendis was a good choice for Superman. The first 2 issues are genuinely great.

Re: Last movie or TV show you watched

Justice League It's a hot mess, you can see the stitches holding this film together with the clashing tones. There is a level of enjoyment in some of the characters here though, especially Diana/Wonder Woman and Superman. it's a shame that a movie where they got WW right, Finally got Supes right, B...

Re: Last movie or TV show you watched

The copied to death nature of that film has really died down over the last decade thankfully, it was cool the first time you see it, it's not so cool when you're watching a movie do it for every action sequence of a film that doesn't involve the characters being able to bend reality a decade later.

You know, its really fucked up when the only person who works at a place who happens to be a father is stuck with working on fathers day.

Re: Random Movie/TV Comments

Honestly, Last Jedi felt like another one of the prequels and Solo actually probably would have worked a lot better as Heist: a Star Wars Story instead of trying to do a Solo movie with a recast, so ANY change in leadership might be a good thing, since what they are doing now is not working. at all...

Re: Random Movie/TV Comments

So there's a rumour starting to circulate that Kathleen Kennedy is stepping down in light of Solo's abysmal box office performance (among other things). The sources haven't been verified yet but it honestly wouldn't shock me considering the movie is doing about as well as Justice League did and that...

Re: Last movie or TV show you watched

I have a soft spot for well told origin stories and the first film is great for that reason, well, that and Vincent D'onofrio was my favorite of all the villains in this series. The third film does have the best cinematography though, its gorgeous to look at.

Re: Random thoughts from deep in the mind

So I've always knew from the moment Jacen was born 3 months early raising him would come with extra challenges, and today another has raised its head. At his Nicu follow up appointment the doctors have recommended him to specialists as they feel like he's Autistic, we were expecting as much as his d...

Re: Last movie or TV show you watched

Men in Black 3 A sight better than the second film (any time a film can avoid using the song 'Who Let the Dogs Out' it goes up a few notches), even with the limited screen time for Tommy Lee Jones here. Josh Brolan makes up for it though doing a near perfect younger Agent K. The villain was a bit we...

Re: The Walking Dead

The bait and switch with Glenn's dumpster 'death' was very cheap, especially when they did what they did just half a season later. It was a surefire sign of creative stagnation that's only grown worse since in my opinion.

Re: Last Movie You Saw In Theaters

Solo Overall as a film this is fairly fun, but as a Star Wars film its literally 2 hours of fan service that plucked every line of dialogue that Han used to give his character a bit of background in the original trilogy and put it up on screen. The movie had a tough task in trying to sell audiences ...

Re: The Walking Dead

I think Rick leaving might be what the show needs. Along with the talk of Maggie being gone as well and you're basically left with no major players from the comic so they can go off on their own without it being compared constantly and do their own stories without spoilers if they go the comic rout...

Re: Random thoughts from deep in the mind

I really hate when you try to get things done and other people hold you up for hours because "there's plenty of time". It's not like the post office isn't one of the busiest places in town that going there automatically sucks an hour from your day, but I have to go to the cable company as well to tu...
