Re: Last Movie You Saw In Theaters

Men in Black International Again, I kind of feel like critics (and sites like Rotten Tomatoes in particular) have sabotaged another summer blockbuster. Its admittedly not great but not terrible, no way of deserving the Rotten Tomatoes score it received and the absolute drudging it received at the bo...

Re: Last movie or TV show you watched

I have to recommend an amazingly terrible movie to you all. Serenity starring Matthew McConaughey and Anne Hathaway. Just don't read up anything. You can watch the trailer but even then. Wow...I almost admire it.... Joe recommended it when it came out, and I watched it and it greatly enriched my li...

Re: Video Games

The Playstation Classic is down to $30 this week for Days of Play (if anyone wants to mess around with it as an emulation box).

Re: Last Movie You Saw In Theaters

Critics shouldn't be allowed to review genre films. The majority either don't understand what their audiences want or they have an agenda to destroy them, even if it's just to maintain their status as a critic (like they would be less respected of they actually ENJOYED a genre film instead of tearin...

I haven't watched much but Cyberpunk was the stand out for me (especially with the addition of Mr. Reeves).

Corino was at the PWF show last night, not an appearance, watching the show. Doubt he was "scouting" but who knows.

Nominating Mox vs Juice from the BOSJ final day. Physical as hell and both guys busted their ass. Good stuff.
This airs on Friday on AXS right?
I don't know, I saw where someone posted it on YouTube.

Re: Last movie or TV show you watched

I think the last time I read a whole book (and not started one then lost interest) was like 5 years ago. After the first season I really wanted to pick up American Gods but never got around to it. But I do like Gaiman so maybe this will be the one?

Re: Last movie or TV show you watched

Finished Good Omens on Amazon Prime. Never read the book, but at only 6 episodes it's a pretty quick watch. Well cast and pretty witty. Tennant plays Crowley like the Doctor if the Doctor was a massive dickbag, and that's tremendous. The whole thing's pretty tremendous really. Love that Queen is pre...

Re: Last Movie You Saw In Theaters

There is one in Charlotte. I can't quite justify going that far for a movie though. I say that as I'm trying to go to a Dolby Theater at some point. Closest Dolby is Concord. There's one in Va that's closer for me, but still a 2 and 1/2 hour drive. Richmond? Unless its Virginia Beach, Concord is th...

Re: Last Movie You Saw In Theaters

Godzilla King of Monsters This shits on 2014 Godzilla from massive heights (and 1999 by infinitely higher heights). More and better monster mashing, callbacks to the Godzilla flicks of the past, and other than Cranston (who is barely in it), this flick's human actors all outclass the 2014 flick. Pum...

Re: NXT Thread

When it comes to injuries in wrestling I like to think of the WWE multiverse and that somewhere out there is a universe where Strong never joined Undisputed Era if Fish never got hurt. There is also one where Asuka is still undefeated as NXT Womens Champ. And Scott Steiner is still WCW Champion... ...

Re: Last Movie You Saw In Theaters

Brightburn Great premise of an evil Superboy that is wasted by making it a modern horror movie with an over reliance on jump scares. Doesn't help that the build takes it's time to the point that the first part is just really really dull. At least it's not afraid to bring the gore, doesn't save it bu...

Are there any songs that you never wanna hear for the rest of your life? For me it’s definitely the album version of Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin. Heard it 70000 times and don’t ever need to hear it again. Yeah, it’s a great, great song and all, but the radio has killed it for me. Radio has p...

My favorite action movie ever is Mad Max: FURRY ROAD
Fury Road is probably the best action movie of at least the last twenty years. It's amazing. Fuck Warners for keeping us from getting the two sequels.

Matrix Reloaded - It’s one of my favorite action movies ever, and it still holds up. So many great set pieces throughout. Love it!
I was surprised with how much I enjoyed it rewatching it a few months ago. My issues with the story aside, that freeway scene makes it well worth it.
