NHL 2020-2021 Season

Post by rohspashley » Thu Jan 07, 2021 3:56 pm

Technically its only 2021 season, but oh well. just happy we are getting hockey... what is everyone thoughts on what the NHL is doing

1.The Canada only division

2.selling the naming rights for the divisions... honestly i hated when Bettman removed the classic division and conference names and used YAWN.... geographical type names.

3.Will my suffering over my beloved Maple Leafs ever end.... teaser... probably not.

I never knew this was a thread! It's been an interesting season to say the least and maybe I'm more excited for next season but I'll be tuning in for the playoffs. I have no particular team I'm routing for or against.

i honestly have no idea. they outplayed, outscored and were a better team than montreal and somehow found a way to blow it in 7. i was at work during game 5 and was disappointed when they went down 3-0 but then tied it up, and then blew it in overtime. i just had this sinking feeling they would blow it in 7 and they did. on the upside andersen is gone. never had faith in him. campbell was very good. maybe bring in another guy to challenge him. defence was much better this year. minor tinkering. forwards will need work. i think robertson will be a regular next season. i think they need to mostly stay the course. they barely lost and tavares missed basically the whole series. matthews and marner both did nothing and they really should have won still.

They blew it in game 7 but what about games 5 and 6 when they could have still clinched?

Leafs are just frustrating. really should have won that series. Montreal lucked their way to the finals and then faced a real team and got their door caved in. thank god. as a leafs fan i could not live with montreal fans taunting me about leafs blowing a series and then montreal going on to win the cup.

so GardenState what do you think about your Devils and who do you think they will lose in the expansion draft. most experts in Toronto believe Leafs will lose Kerfoot.
