Re: All Elite Wrestling
The good news is that it sounds like he just separated his shoulder and there is no break. He still needs to be super careful though and maybe not go all out like that every match.
Re: All Elite Wrestling
How his arm isn’t broken is beyond me. I saw that shit bend in half the wrong way.

Tonight on Dynamite we crown an undisputed TNT champion on TBS!
Tonight on Rampage we see a defense of the TBS championship on TNT!

Re: All Elite Wrestling
I enjoyed Dynamite last night but felt the urge to turn it off and go throw my body into a brick wall at high speed while watching that Brandi Rhodes segment. Buy Gawd...
Re: All Elite Wrestling
Punk & MJF was outstanding.

Whats the word on Miro these days?
Maybe I'm wrong but it seems as if Fish & O'Reilly havent been on TV at all for three weeks. Am I wrong?

I think Kyle is on Paternity leave so they’re prob keeping Fish and Bucks off too just to pause the story.GardenStateSaint wrote: ↑Sun Feb 06, 2022 2:23 pmWhats the word on Miro these days?

I feel like they shouldn't have started with O'Reilly if thats the case.
Re: All Elite Wrestling
Seriously. He was the perfect opponent to show off Lee in his first match. I can't wait for the hoss fight between him and Wardlow.
And Lee has gotten behind the memes and has dubbed it the Uncle Phil Beal

I wonder what the over/under is on them appearing in WWE soon?

Not buying it.
It doesn’t add up at all!

Re: All Elite Wrestling
I do wonder if this is an elaborate work to further the Cody heel who doesn't realize he's a heel storyline.

Re: All Elite Wrestling
I think it comes down to him making so much on his last contract because of so many roles and now he's stretching out into more stuff besides AEW that wanting that amount or more really can't be justified understandably.

This better not mean the end of Rhodes to the Top!
Re: All Elite Wrestling
I can see him trying to leverage himself as a bit of a crossover star. What would he get out of a WWE run at this point? He might get booked as a big deal for a few weeks before getting slid down the card and toiling there for the remainder of his contract or when he's released, whatever comes first. Vince surely isn't going to be forgiving to the guy who helped build the biggest competition to him since WCW. Sure, he would sign him just to stick it to AEW, but I have zero faith in Cody being presented as big of a star there as he has made himself over the years.
Still not sure this isn't a massive work yet either.
Re: All Elite Wrestling
There’s the obvious angle of putting Cody against Roman based on their respective bloodlines of the business but no way is Roman losing. Then you know every promo someone would do on Cody will bury the hell out of that neck tattoo.Azmodeous wrote: ↑Wed Feb 16, 2022 2:56 pmI can see him trying to leverage himself as a bit of a crossover star.
