I only see AEW going after three or four of the guys let go today. Gallows and Anderson and Ruseav seem the most likely. Impact will hire a handful, maybe one or two to NWA but a lot of these guys may be done.

Agreed. I could see them grabbing up Finlay too as he could really help with the women’s division.

It would turn that women's division around.

I think there's a considerable amount of people backstage in AEW who are friends with Finley and would vouch for him, so I wouldn't be shocked to see him come in. Finley may just be furloughed though so he more than likely will be back with WWE in a few months once things get up and running again.

I don't see AEW going as crazy snapping guys up the way WCW did back in the day but yeah, Gallows and Anderson, Rusev, and (as much you don't like it Greg) I get the feeling they're keen on EC3 and will try to sign him. Everyone else will kind of shuffle through the industry. I could have seen ROH making a power play for a few of these guys before the world fell apart when Sinclair was opening their purses a bit wider (who knows how much they're gonna tighten their belts now though).

WWE has come to terms on the release of Kurt Angle, Rusev (Miroslav Barnyashev), Drake Maverick (James Curtin), Zack Ryder (Matthew Cardona), Curt Hawkins (Brian Myers), Karl Anderson (Chad Allegra), Luke Gallows (Drew Hankinson), Heath Slater (Heath Miller), Eric Young (Jeremy Fritz), Rowan (Joseph Ruud), Sarah Logan (Sarah Rowe), No Way Jose (Levis Valenzuela), Mike Chioda, Mike Kanellis (Mike Bennett), Maria Kanellis, EC3 (Michael Hutter), Aiden English (Matthew Rehwoldt), Lio Rush (Lionel Green), Primo (Edwin Colon) and Epico (Orlando Colon Nieves)

Also a lot of agents (Lance Storm, Billy Kidman, Fit Finley, Shane Helms) we're furloughed but might come back down the road.

Anderson posted a clip on twitter Santa Monica to Tokyo with Machine Gun at the end so most think he's going back to NJPW. I would expect Gallows to go with him. I'd love to see them go back and feud with GoD about what how they let BC basically turn to shit

AEW needs to grab Lio Rush and let him feud with Allen using the Blackheart gimmick he did in CZW.

I'd love to see him make another tour through the indys, but no telling when the bigger indys will start running again.
AEW at least should be taping shows again if not live starting with the PPV (though probably not with fans, so may hold off on too many new debuts for awhile).

I truly believe shows in front of live crowds won’t be a thing again until at least 2021. So there’s no use in holding off debuts. They just have to embrace the new form of pro wrestling.

WWE will be running shows with fans no later than July, even if it's only in the state of Florida. They are too greedy not to.

WWE will be running shows with fans no later than July, even if it's only in the state of Florida. They are too greedy not to.

watching smackdown and watched sheamus needlessly have to bully michael cole, and i don't like cole but this came off as lame and pathetic attempt to get people to dislike sheamus more. there is never a need to bully the ring announcer or announcers it comes off really lame and sad. though honestly hearing stories about how vince loves to bully people and has a few bullies who never get punished it honestly doesnt surprise me.
