To be fair...how many times have we heard a wwe commentator, or really any of them say "i've never seen a ____ like this before!" when we know very much so they have. It is a way too common thing up there with FIRST TIME EVER!!!!11!!!1

But I agree in that instance he seems dumb to us and needs to scale back. I just dont see it happening. If there was one thing about Nigel on commentary I don't like, he is always saying "THIS IS IT!" right before a pinfall. So the wwe has changed him into their mold of a commentator, and it sucks.

That stood out to me too. He had several matches much more hard hitting with Takeshi Morishima alone. He and American Dragon Bryan Danielson (man I miss calling Daniel Bryan that) brutalized one another much worse than that so many times. It’s like wwe thinks we as fans are stupid and for me it’s just too hard to support someone/something with such obvious disdain for the people who pay them.
