So prevailing thought is that Thirteen will regenerate back to Ten for some kind of unfinished business and choose to regenerate again via the 24 hour rule?
Re: Dr. Who!
BBC has referred to him as 14 following the regeneration so it'll be interesting to see what happens in the 60th year specials to get to the actual Doctor.

Power of the Doctor was not a great episode. May have been Chibnall's best episode but that's quite the low bar. Happily he did not shit all over the history of Doctor Who again. He actually did a lot of fan service and nostalgia. Enjoyed seeing many cameos from Classic Doctors. Enjoyed seeing 5 and 7 getting a proper goodbye with their Teagan and Ace.
Also on a side note. Fox Network needs to apologise to Doctor Who.. for that awful TV movie. Paul McGann... again for his one episode as the 8th Doctor being that fucking awful TV movie. And lastly Sylvester McCoy for that awful way they killed poor 7.
I enjoyed how when 13 renegerated into 14. the clothing changed. Which should lead to something interesting. And I know it's cheesy but when 14 does regenerate the last line has to be either... I STILL DON"T WANT TO GO!!!!! or.... I AM READY TO GO.

I loved the What What What just like the first time.
Re: Dr. Who!
Apparently as part of the Disney+ deal they are going to invest into the show to get the budget up to par with premium genre television.

Agree on your take of Power for the most part, though I probably enjoyed it more than you did. Disagree on the TV movie, for a 90s major US Network take on Who it's not terrible, I wouldn't have minded a season on Fox, but I guess it's for the best as we might not have gotten a revival if it happened. Love McGann as 8, mostly due to his Big Finish stuff but I thought he was great in the TV movie too, so what do I know.rohspashley wrote: ↑Wed Oct 26, 2022 3:16 am Power of the Doctor was not a great episode. Re: Dr. Who!
Big Finish just announced a big 60th Anniversary story to run from May to November next year:
"The Time War. The Doctor has been injured and brought to a Time Lord field hospital. His body glows with energy, but this is no regeneration into a future form - instead, the Doctor’s past faces begin to appear as he flits haphazardly between incarnations...
Staggering to his TARDIS, the Doctor sets out to solve the mystery of his ‘degeneration’. Who has done this to him? How? And why? From the Earth to the stars, across an array of familiar times and places, he follows clues to retrace his steps, encountering old friends and enemies along the way. Tumbling through his lives, the Doctor must stop his degeneration before he loses himself completely...
Doctor Who – Once and Future stars Tom Baker, Peter Davison, Colin Baker, Sylvester McCoy, Paul McGann, Christopher Eccleston and David Tennant, with dozens more guest cast still to be revealed."

You can tell Russell T Davies is back when news of a classic companion rejoining the series breaks.
