[Grundy]

I've been into mobile video games lately. The latest one im.playong is Street Fighter: Duel. Essentially is Street Fighter in a turn based format.

I've hooked up the SNES classic and got the second Genesis classic for Christmas, so my gaming has been relegated to 16 bit (and a few Sega CD titles) nostalgia as of late.

Nice! Nothing wrong with the classics!

I'm still on mobile games at the moment. My current selection Godzilla: Front Line. You collect and upgrade characters from the Godzilla/Toho Universe. And use them in Team Battles against other players. I like it, but I could be bias since I like Godzilla anyway.

Just beat God of War (2018)

Wow what a masterpiece. My 2nd favorite PS game ever (after Spider-Man). Just an enjoyable ride and the camera work blew me away. A technical achievement to do the whole game as “one shot” with no loading screens. Still in awe.

That being said, I’ve really focused up on my backlog and have made an order for my next 4 games:

Ratchet & Clank (2018)
Redfall
Uncharted 3

After that I’ll reassess but with Fight Forever coming in 2 weeks, this may not work out well. I already play Fall Guys and Fortnite everyday. Thank the lord I work from home.

I’ve been playing the crap outta Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. I think they finally did it and made the best game ever, holy crap. It’s so much fun, I love it, 10/10, perfect game. I thought Breath of the Wild was incredible, and it is, but they upped it big time for TOTK.

I never finished all the DLC for Spider-Man back when I still had a PS4, but after getting it and Miles Morales on PC I'm on my second New Game Plus playthrough of Spidey Remastered and another playthrough of Miles. These and Midnight Suns are mostly what I've played in the last few months.

Uninstalled Redfall tonight. It had 2 strikes going in already for me I was ok enough to compromise with (only get to pick 1 of 4 characters at the start and can never change along with co-op lobbies only counting story progression for the party host)

But once I saw Achievements with a gamerscore of 17 I was out. Call me crazy but it’d drive me nuts after all this time to have a gamerscore ending in anything other than a 0 or a 5. Plus some are missable and some are only available in co-op.

Too many red flags so I just said fuck it and am moving on to Halo: Infinite

Beat Halo Infinite yesterday. My personal favorite Halo game ever. Hot damn that was an inspired good time.

Now onto Uncharted 3!

Uncharted 3 - A little bloated imo. Not bad, but I loved 2 in comparison to this. Still fun overall!
Atomic Heart - Liked it and all but it felt more cinematic than game which to later discover this was originally developed to NOT be a game, this made alot of sense. But it was nice to play something original.
Uncharted 4 - A home run! Outstanding! No notes and I loved every second of it. My favorite of the series by a longshot.
Midnight Fight Express - Fun indie game that is just a "pixelated" John Wick. Search it out to give it a shot!
Ghostwire Tokyo - A weird one but was still enjoyable. Not really worth the open world side of it, wish it just stayed a bit more linear. Don't need the fluff.
Immortality - This was awesome! I love these types of games and felt like a legit detective solving and uncovering what happened with these people.
Pokemon Lets Go Pikachu - Finally got back to this one and finished it off. You know what it is at this point lol.
Super Mario Maker 2 - Some levels were annoying but was happy to finish off the "story" mode.

I want to play Starfield but as some one who has never played Fallouts or Elder Scrolls, I am a bit intimidated by it and don't know if I will have ample time. So I've been trying to drill down my endless back log before maybe trying.

I almost bounced right off it after playing maybe 3 hrs, then another few hrs and it not hitting for me. Dug in a little yesterday and I'm enjoying it more. I'll probably drop it when Phantom Liberty comes out for a few months at least. With mods supposedly coming to the XBox version early next year I might wait on that.
