Re: The Netflix Thread
Just watched "The Old Guard" . Holy f'n shit it was an amazing movie. Hope they make this into a series, because they left it off as if that is what they could do. I know it's based off a comic, and Charlize Theron is a f'n bad ass in it.
Re: The Netflix Thread
I’ll have to check this out! I’m weary of Netflix movies cause most of them just plain suck (looking at you, Fatal Affair) but I’m so starved for new movies!

Re: The Netflix Thread
Since you're starved for new movies right now, maybe now would be a good time to watch some classics you have missed?
Just saying this might be a great month to finally watch Conan 1982...

No see that’s the thing, I miss “new” movies not just movies I haven’t seen. Mostly I miss going to the movies.ICEMAN KING PATSON wrote: ↑Sat Aug 01, 2020 7:56 am Since you're starved for new movies right now, maybe now would be a good time to watch some classics you have missed?

I know it all comes down to taste, but here as some of my favorite Netflix movies that I thought were really really good:RaYnE wrote: ↑Sat Aug 01, 2020 9:04 amI really don't think you'll be disappointed with this one. I really loved it.
Love Wedding Repeat
Eurovision Song Contest (if you are not a Will Ferrell fan, pass on this)
The Half of It
Horse Girl
The Wiloughbys
The Platform
Coffee & Kareem (gave me a very 90s comedy type feel that I haven't seen from a recent film in awhile)
Polar
The Perfection
Unicorn Store
Klaus
They may not all by Netflix originals, but still solid films IMO.
Re: The Netflix Thread
Transformers: The War for Cybertron is the best 3 hours of Transformers since the original series.
Re: The Netflix Thread
Beast Wars and Prime are both great, but this is just so right and concise in my opinion.

Re: The Netflix Thread
Season 2 of Transformers War for Cybertron (Earthrise) is out, and just like the first season, it does not miss one bit. Season 1 is like taking the first episode of the Gen 1 series and turing it into a season long episode. Same for season 2. I want Season 3 now! Have to wait until May 30th...UGH!
Re: The Netflix Thread
Anyone else watching Godzilla: Singular Point?
Re: The Netflix Thread
Midnight Mass is fucking phenominal!

I'm not a big purveyor of Netflix but I recently watch a documentary on Sylvester Stallone called Sly that I quite enjoyed. A bunch of new things I never knew about Stallone and definitely a bit more insightful than most might assume.

I'm tempted to do a month of Netflix to catch this and the Arnold one.GardenStateSaint wrote: ↑Mon Nov 13, 2023 11:20 pm I'm not a big purveyor of Netflix but I recently watch a documentary on Sylvester Stallone called Sly that I quite enjoyed. The Arnold documentary is on my radar. If I don't do it soon I never will.
