I’ve started watching The X-Files from the very beginning. I’ve seen a couple of episodes over the years but never watched the full series. So far I’m really enjoying it! Only up to episode 7 of the first season though. But I see why this became such a huge hit.
I started doing a series rewatch a few years ago and fell off in the third season. I should get back to it.
This first season is really great!

That happened to me with Lost. Got up to halfway through the second season and just kind of faded away. I should get back to it.

So I'm trying to pick a new show to watch on a streaming service. Any thoughts on any of these shows to help narrow down the list for which to watch first??

Amazon:
The Man In The High Castle
Sneaky Pete

Hulu:
The Path
Marvel's Runaways
Future Man

Netflix:
Altered Carbon
Ozark
Mindhunter
American Vandal
Big Mouth

I never finished Runaways, but I liked what I saw of it. Pretty fun series.

I cannot recommend Mindhunter enough. I think you'd really like it.

Altered Carbon was too dull for me. I never made it past the second episode.

The first season of Sneaky Pete is incredible. I'm only halfway through the 2nd season but it's good so far.

Future Man starts out shitty as it tries too hard at the cheesiness but around the 3rd episode or so it turns things around and by the end, you're sad it's over because it's become so awesome.

I don't know if anybody here digs documentaries but I just watched Operation Odessa on Showtime and absolutely loved. Just an outrageous story complete with a HEEL TURN!

I'm in the middle of Killing Gunther on Amazon Prime and I think I'll cut it off and come back to it. I can't keep waiting on Arnold to show up.

I finished Killing Gunther

Arnold was pretty great when he shows up, but the whole thing just feels real cheap and the jokes miss way more than it hits.
most of it is pretty lame actually.

Tremors: A Cold Day in Hell

This is the 6th Tremors movie but the first sequel that actually feels like the original with the fun. There's a ton of throwbacks to the original that all work and just make it more enjoyable.

The original is classic but never seen the sequels. So this is the one to check out of them all then?

You'll probably have a few questions as some of the things they added during the other sequels are in this new one but yeah I definitely recommend checking it out.

The only other sequel that I really recommend is 4 which is actually a prequel.

Best thing I could've done in terms of watching TV is just cutting out a majority of my broadcast shows. The big 4 is just the same old shit and after catching on and just cutting out what looks like crap, I am down to only 7 shows between the big 4 networks:

NBC: The Blacklist, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The Good Place, Superstore
FOX: Family Guy, The Simpsons
ABC: Agents Of SHIELD

I basically hate watch The Simpsons at this point and Blacklist is great when they're on point w the main story. I'm fed up with procedurals and laugh track comedies at this point.

There is just no more creativity on those channels. Some people enjoy the programming they put out but it's just too lowest common denominator for me as a viewer.

I’ve been watching Insecure on HBO. Made it through the first season and most of the second in a few days. Great show!

Come on man, CBS is the greatest network in television. Their programming stands above all others, network, cable, or streaming.

Ok, I can't type that with a straight face, CBS blows.

I just started up season 4 of Preacher. It's certainly not a show for everybody but I'm thrilled it's back!
