Doomsday Clock #12 is a gigantic gift for Superman fans. What they do here had me grinning ear to ear thinking what this would mean for the character's future. Then I read Superman #18 and realized that Doomsday Clock is probably going to be considered not in continuity. Sigh:
I really don't like the idea of Superman revealing he's Clark Kent to the world. It puts a giant bullseye on his friends and family and loosens his connection to humanity in my opinion.

Humble Bundle has two digital comic bundles right now, Spawn and Star Trek. The maximum amount of digital comics (equivalent to several hundred dollars worth for each set) can be had for as low as a $15 donation for each.

Ollie's had the first 2 years worth of the new Marvel Star Wars comics in 2 hardcover volumes for $5.99 apiece. Along with these I recently picked up the House of X/Powers of X hardcover to start weeding out more individual issues.

I love Ollies, it's kind of become my go-to for graphic novels and HDMI 2.0 cables, I just hate that they seem to be phasing out DVD/Blu-ray at my location.

Stopped back in Ollie's Sunday and picked up the hardcover Kanan The Last Padawan collection and Vader Down trade (as that was omitted from the hardcovers sadly).

It looks like my push towards trades exclusively has just been accelerated. The owners of my local shop have been going through a divorce for the last year and I get the feeling the shop won't be around much longer as things start shaking out.

Thoughts on Dan Didio being gone from DC? I always felt like he had a ton of ideas but never knew how to execute them well, not did he figure out where they would lead 5 years down the line. This is why the last decade has seen 4 line-wide relaunches with a fifth planned for later this year. He was very stunt and event-oriented in his approach and he made some simply head-scratching decisions when it came to certain characters (his disdain for Dick Grayson and Wally West is legendary. Plus his hatred of marriages and this weird desire to out Superman's identity are just some of the major issues I've had with him.). I don't want to pop a champagne bottle or anything as this is probably a sign of tighter corporate control and a complete risk-averse strategy in the near future. There's a fine line to just how much risk you should take and Didio never seemed to be able to navigate that nor read the fandom's reaction well in my opinion.

Humble Bundle has a new Doctor Who bundle with some newer digital comics from last year, but also some of the Big Finish audios. A $15 donation unlocks the top tier and it's a doozy.

And yep, I think Im done going there. I went to pick up my pull list yesterday and use some gift cards I got for Xmas and just got a bad vibe going there. Apparently, the divorce was finalized and the husband got the shop in the deal and he just comes off as a dick and not as community-minded as his wife was. I know yesterday alone while I was browsing the graphic novels he and another employee were sitting around condescending younger fans for not being as knowledgeable as they were. I saw this kind of attitude at a lot of shops and the common denominator is that they are no longer in business.

Humble Bundle also has a Valiant Bloodshot bundle (probably to celebrate the new Vin Diesel movie).

Three Jokers is finally getting released on June 17. This is the one lingering thing from Rebirth that I'm interested in seeing wrapped up.

Just the first collected volume. I understand it gets weirder as it goes along.

According to Grant Morrison, Lana and Lilly Wachowski did and maybe got a little too inspired by it when they were making The Matrix. It's been on my bucket list for some time. Maybe I can grab some trades and see for myself if Morrison was right in his accusations.

Diamond is pausing all comics distribution for the foreseeable future. This industry has already been hanging on by a thread for years and this is really going to hurt shops. I completely understand trying to make things better for humanity as a whole right now as comics just aren't essential in the grand scheme of things but with so much hardships coming down escapism is going to be more important than ever when things start back up.

it'll start back up without comics as they are now done, alone with most small businesses and forget getting paid more than minimum wage, the level of unemployment when this is all done means employers wont have to pay peanuts to get people.
We are ALL fucked.

I started reading Fables last week. Don't know why I ever skipped this as it's fantastic so far.
