That’s very bad. That’s a felony. A felony keeps you from going to other countries to wrestle. Like England.

He's cleared to travel apparently. So long as England is cool with him entering the country. He was released on a very small bond.

Judging from last night there was nothing set up or hinted at to suggest otherwise at this point. If they were even half worried, I'd imaigne contingencies or changes would've been put in motion.

Yeah, I figured it was safe when he was released with a fairly minimal bond. It gives me the impression that they really aren't going to throw the book at him so to speak. I do think they kept them off live TV last night to let things cool down (wrestling media will be on something else altogether by Wednesday night with the way they cycle through stuff. See: no one talking about the punk story from less than a week ago).

Firing CM Punk while in the middle of a 3 show run in his hometown is certainly going to Garner a reaction from the audience. This is going to be a rough weekend I get the feeling. Honestly, I love his work but it was obvious he was like oil and water with a big portion of people backstage and I think after the incident last weekend if Khan didn't do something he was going to look like he had no control over his company.

I do think they should make a statement regarding a fine or suspension for Jack Perry as well so as to let people know that going into business like that on air is not okay.

They’ve likely killed Chicago. WCW 2.0 is becoming more apt.

Along with this they should have had to announce firing Jack Perry as well. Now TK is nothing but a fucking hypocrite. If you thought "Change the Channel" was bad on WWECW back in the day, this could be ten times worse. Why the hell didn't they just wait until Monday to announce that Punk was fired?

They won't be able to give tickets away to Chicago going forward.

And Tony saying on live tv that he felt his life was threatened…I hope he cleared that with legal first because one could construe that as slander and defamation.

I hope Punk sues. Then wins AEW and makes TK his butler.

Considering that was a very prepared statement I highly doubt he would go on air and make a statement that his legal department wouldn't have combed over with a fine tooth brush. Word is there is video footage from Wembley with there being so many cameras in the arena (considering the UK's surveillance state I would bet there's a lot there) and that footage was used to make this decision. I honestly wouldn't be shocked if we don't get a leak from TMZ or someone in the next few days, if there's video of Punk lunging at TK like they said I don't see how he has much of a legal leg to stand on.

The footage of TK addressing the live crowd before Collision last night was pretty brutal.

You have to give him credit, it took some guts to go out into that crowd and give that news. I think the United center is no longer an option when they run Chicago from now on. Also they probably don't run the market nearly as much too.

Did he actually go out there though? All I saw was the pre tape. But what about Tony's little traditions of always running Chicago for All Out and Thanksgiving week. Lets see if they come back in November.

Oh there's video, he went out there and was drowned in boos for nearly 5 minutes straight. You could barely make out what he was saying in most of the videos I've seen. One has someone clearly calling him a p****

And now I saw that Punk, TK and the Elite were supposed to have a meeting Thursday to settle things out that they backed out on at the last minute. Then he had his issues getting to the hotel there and then Perry instigating some more. Another perfect storm of a week.
