Crush Orange Cassidy for the title and put him on the shelf. Orange needs a rest.

Also, Jay Lethal has lost three title matches in the last month and Juice Robinson has lost two.

It’s an old joke that wasn’t very funny to begin with.

If a wrestling promotion presents you as a loser, how long until you’re viewed by the fans as a loser?

No attempt at humor from me. Was it "crush Orange"?

Oh no, not you. Orange Cassidy. So he puts his hands in his pockets and acts like he doesn’t care. He’s been doing that on tv since 2019 and it’s worn the fuck out.

He’s lost most of his TV matches from the beginning. Not including the padding from Dark/Elevation

he's been presented as not special since he lost his debut match honestly. hopefully the new ROH show can rehabilitate him in the AEW fanbase eyes but it's doubtful, especially after linking him with Sonjay and Jarrett (and I like all three guys).

Ah ok. I like Orange Cassidy as an in ring talent but the gimmick is worn out as you said. I feel like if Orange Cassidy or even Darby Allin were cycled out for a bit the third homegrown undersized babyface talent, Jungle Boy, might be getting more time to shine or grow.

I don’t think the Orange Punch is a good finisher for him. It makes wrestling look even more fake to people who already ridicule the business for being fake. I was the size of OC when I was in 8th grade. Now way that guy can knock anyone out with one of those buggy whip arms.

They need to transition Orange Cassidy, Trent & Chucky T to six man stuff. I don't care to see Orange Cassidy in anymore singles matches. Darby Allin isn't too far behind.

Am I the only one or do none of the matches on this coming week's Dynamites look like main events?

Darby/Buddy and the Womens 3 Way both could easily main. Even Danielson/Cage if MJF was on commentary or involved in post match stuff.

I love both Darby and OC so the more of them on TV the more I enjoy AEW personally.

I was low key rooting for Kip to get his big win against OC for the belt but it could happen one day still.

And Hobbs beating Darby is fine eventually but he just got "re-packaged" and is being rebuilt back up so it needs time to get Hobbs back some heat with the audience.

I'm still salty Best Friends weren't inaugural Trios champs. They deserved it way more than The Elite I don't care.

^Agreed on The Best Friends deserving to be the first Trios champions.

Darby vs. Buddy Matthews will be the main event I have no doubt but that isn't a main event. And neither was Darby vs. KUSHIDA. Its several days later and I still haven't watched that match. I watched everything else but haven't gotten to that. Are fans more casual than myself staying tuned in? Probably not.

Casual fans dont exist imo. And in this day and age, AEW has done enough to earn the right to call many different matches a main event, esp. with the TNT title involved. Every show shouldn't close with the same 5-6 talents every week like WWE.

I'm happy to see Mark Briscoe getting to wrestle on TBS. It's a shame Tony Khan had to go to David Zaslav to make it happen though. When Effy is saying Jay was a changed man and regretted his statement, it's time to let it go.

So glad they were able to pay tribute to Jay after all. I got chills. I’m gonna miss him so much. One of my all time favorites.

Jungle Boy’s torso is about 6 inches too long.
