i found one of my favourite documentaries is on Disney+ Empire of Dreams aka the making of the first three star wars movies is on Disney+ and its as fascinating and cool as i remember it. for those fans of the first trilogy aka episodes 4 5 6 its a must watch. lots of interesting backstory on the struggles to make the first 3 star wars movies.

I’ve started rewatching ER from the beginning. I’ve got time. Especially since I finished Ozark. Let’s go Dr. Carter!
Re: Random Movie/TV Comments
I watched from probably season four until ten or so as it aired. I’m looking forward to seeing a lot of that again!
Re: Random Movie/TV Comments
I’ve now started watching NYPD Blue as well. I’m apparently spending my Corona season with network TV hits of the 1990s.

Re: Random Movie/TV Comments
even though its been awhile since i rewatched it. it must be said. CHERNOBYL was AMAZING!!!!!!! it was creepy and scary and so well acted. i was only a kid in the 80s but know some about the soviet union from that period and how the state handled the entire situation makes sense. Current Russia of course calls BS on it and there official story is about a CIA agent causing the meltdown, They don't want to admit its the truth because it portrays them poorly and yes some people especially the man in charge at the plant come off horribly but there are so many heroes who saves millions of lives.
Re: Random Movie/TV Comments
Just watched Sonic the Hedgehog. It's basically what happens when a studio straps a director with the lame, way overused fish out of water story for a character like this. The only thing is that the director has such a passion for the character that he manages to make an entertaining movie out of it. It's nothing remarkable, mind you, but I never felt like my eyes were going to roll out of the back of my head watching it. They really nailed the look (after a false start) and attitude of Sonic and Jim Carey just went into full-on zany in just the right doses here as Robotnik. Not life-changing cinema, not did it need to be, but a decent watch.

Re: Random Movie/TV Comments
Dexter is being brought back as a 10 episode special. I really hope they can give us a more satisfying conclusion than the show left off on.

What is the target date or season for that?
Re: Random Movie/TV Comments
Sometime next year. It's set to be a 10 episode miniseries with the original showrunner (the guy who did the first 4 seasons before they gave it to Scott Buck and let him piss away all the potential in the final few seasons) coming back to give us a more satisfying conclusion. If he pulls it off it may be one of the biggest comeback stories in television history after that awful ending.
