I think a big part of it is do they want to cast them on the younger side or make them all a bit older. Truly hard to gauge but at first glance of Jon Watts directing, you'd wonder if its younger side since they liked what he did with Spider-Man.
Tenet was really good and I'm ready to rewatch it already after just finishing it. I do think a better sound design could have been implemented though, the music and sound effects are so loud that it nearly drowns out the dialogue. It's a tough movie to follow thanks to that.

I think Nolan's mindset is if you have to strain to listen to dialogue it forces you to pay more attention to it. I mean it does, but it also doesn't necessarily make for an enjoyable experience.

As I'm feeding Jacen, Sherry is watching something on Netflix and I think 'my God, this is terrible.'
I see in the credits 'executive producer Shonda Rhimes' and immediately think 'that's why!'
Who's Shonda Rhymes?
She just makes stuff like Grays Anatomy. Overly sexualized soap opera level programming that's plots are a series of what kind of drama comes from how sex went last night. It's dreadful to me.

See I can get the hate for that.
Only interested in sex dramas that feature actual sex.
And explosions.
Sherry is watching Downton Abbey now. It's not my cup of tea, but my goodness can the characters on this show cut you down to nothing in the most polite and proper way.

I actually really enjoyed the show until season three. It goes downhill from there.

So how about that Godzilla vs Kong trailer
Seeing Kong and Godzilla slugging it out made my inner 5-year-old giddy with excitement. The early 2000's hype track rap-rock they used was super lame and brought the trailer down a notch for me though. Seriously, you have Godzilla and Kong fighting, that in itself is cool enough there's no need to posture at being hip. I'm still excited to see the movie though
Superman and Lois managed to make a modern interpretation of the character, ground him as a human being, and still keep that charm and sense of wonder and awe that the Donner/Reeve version had in check. I definitely enjoyed the pilot a lot, even the kids did a good job and didn't work my nerves.
